Memories Collection

This space is decicated to recorded memories of Karthik as remembered by his friends.

1. Karthik in one of our Podcasts read aloud and discussed about a poem by Bharathiyar. Here are the lines
Thēdi chōṟunitam tinṟu
Pala cinnañ ciṟukataikaḷ pēci
Maṉam vāṭit tuṉpamika uḻanṟu
Piṟar vāṭap palaceyalkaḷ ceytu
Narai kūṭik kiḻapparuva meyti
Koṭuṅ kūṟṟuk kiraiyenappin māyum
Pala vēṭikkai maṉitarai pōlē
Nāṉ vīḻvēṉ enṟu ninaithāyō?

The Tamil text translates to English as follows:"Scavenging for food daily,Engaging in many petty, insignificant talks,With minds wilted by sorrow and suffering,Performing actions that bring misery to others,Growing old with graying hair but achieving nothing,Eventually succumbing to the cruel fate of death,Just like these laughable humans,Did you think I too would fall?"

2. Karthik was one of the few people in the world who would pick up Feynmann lectures for reading for fun. It showed his immence interest in Physics and love for science.
3.
Karthigeyan,  presenting here presenting his IEP project, he shared insightful thoughts on the crucial role of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Indian economy. His analysis highlights how essential these elements are for driving economic growth and job creation, particularly in the face of shifting global trends. He effectively articulates the current landscape of entrepreneurship in India, noting both the progress made in urban centers like Bangalore and the challenges faced by sectors such as agriculture and rural economies. Karthigeyan's recommendations for improving business incubators and strengthening intellectual property rights are not only timely but also reflect a deep understanding of the barriers to innovation in our country. His commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem is commendable, and I believe his insights can contribute significantly to shaping policies that support sustainable economic development in India.
